New Joomla Security Release: Version 1.5.20

The Joomla team has been working diligently these last few days.  There was a new security release of Joomla 1.5 on July 20, 2010 to Joomla 1.5.20.  According to the Joomla development team:

"This is a security release that addresses issues with the Joomla 1.5.19 packages.  We recommend users upgrade immediately."

It is highly recommended that you upgrade your current version of Joomla. You can download the latest version of Joomla at the Joomla.org website.

If you're a little tech savvy and would like to update your website yourself, read the tutorial 'Update A Joomla Website To A New Release'.

You can also use the extension Update Manager For Joomla which does the install update for you.  I like and use this non-commercial (free) extension.  See my review for this Joomla Extension here.
