Description

Adding an article to your Joomla website is a two step process:

The first step is to create the article and the second step is to add the article to a menu so that it's visible on the front-end of your website. The instructions below shows how to add content from the Administrator area of your website.

Step By Step

The following steps shows how to add a new article to your Joomla website.

1) Log in to the Administrator area of your website.

2) In the Control Panel area, click the Add New Article button as shown below:

3) In the Article: [New] window, complete the following fields as shown below:

#	DESCRIPTION
	Title: Enter the title of your article.
	Published: In the Published field, select "Yes" so that Joomla knows it OK to show this article on the front end of your website.
	Section: In the Section field, select Uncategorised.
	Category: In the Category field, select Uncategorised.
	In the body area of the window, type your content.
	You can also copy and paste your content from MS Word. Use the Paste from Word button to paste when copying content from MS Word.

Set the Front Page field to "Yes" if you want the article to appear on the home page of your website.

7) Click the Save button.
